Looks like this is going to be the last time i'll up updating for this year..
yeah... 2003 has been a hell of a year with all the ups and downs.. felt like a roller coaster ride ( a bit cliche, haha)
Things are going to change after today.. an end to (school) uniform life, an end to the electronic bus stamp.. DAMN!, an end to JC life, an end to student privileges and an end to many other things..but like meijin once told me, ' things must come to an end so that they can become sweet memories which we can carry for the rest of our lives '
yupz.. To all my friends, Thanks for bringing me to this day with lots of joy and happiness

Jieyong - hey bro, thanks for everything this year man.. all the suntanning, late night CounterStrike-ing, bitching.. haha.. it's been one incredible year! More will come next yr eh? haha

Jasmine and Lydia - wah.. fellow pirates!! hahaa.. yeah! spent quite an incredibly good time with you guys this year and even more after the As.. hahaha.. Oh yah.. and please please.. add something like this into your new year resolution.. 'Be nice to Winfrid" HAHAH =P

The resolution is applicable to Calyn and Julia too! =DDD

Meijin - Sista! The person who supported me when i was down through the two years! She makes one superbly good friend and adviser and a sista.. wah.. 3 in 1.. like those instant coffee by Super.. Hurhur. Thanks for everything man!

Pragas - ehhh budd! haha! All the nonsense and foolish stuff we did throughout the year was definitely unforgettable! Best was the stupid but super funny things we did in Hugo Boss and Toys R Us! hahahah =P Thanks pal! Message me when u're out for a drink or something yah? haha =))))))))))

Crystal - EhHhh! Ms Mean,vile,malicious! lol! ehhhhh.. dunno if i've told u.. but u're a great confidante and a great person who can keep secrets.. thanks man!

HAPPY BOXING DAY, Y'ALL!

i've been bogged down with so many things(christmas shopping, watching scary movie 3 & ROTK....) the whole week that i didn't have time to blog.. and i was too lazy to blog too lah..
Okay.. Christmas has been rather boring this year. I didn't have the mood to write alot of cards this year.. normally i would write 15-20.. but it was too slack to write any.. And nothing much happened during christmas.. Except that i went for midnight mass and had a dinner with my relatives on Christmas day itself.. Presents were kinda boring.. Nothing that really impressed me.. But i was happy for something coz i managed to get the
'Shards of Narsil' , the LOTR thingy my bro always wanted and the funny thing was.. i didn't know that he had his eyes on it... it was on Sunday when i went to Caesars to look the Anduril, the sword of the King.. that i saw it and it caught my eyes.. cool huh?
haha

Anyway, spent most of my time watching the final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on DVD, most of my free time.. yeah.. and guess what? 10 mins ago, i just finished watching the last episode of the final season!! whee! haha.. feel so good! i finally know the end of the 173 episodes story... wheeeeeeeeeee
If u guys loveeeee science fiction, Deep Space Nine is one of the best to watch! Better than Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: Enterprise and Star Trek: Voyager! A combination of romance, politics and action! schweeeet! But comparable to the 6 seasons of Babylon 5...

Oh yah! And another thing i'm happy about! I found a job for meself! haha.. had a reunion dinner with my relatives yesterday and my auntie managed to get a job!
WheEEeeeeee! that means.. i'll have my own money to spend with no constant nagging.. that means i won't be bored to death this holiday... but andrew! i may still want the micromouse job! just have to see how i can compromise..

What NOT to Do While in the Theatre When Watching "LOTR: Return of the King"
(warning: contains spoilers!)

1. Stand up halfway through the movie and yell loudly, "Wait...where the hell is Harry Potter?"

2. Block the entrance to the theater while screaming, "YOU.....SHALL.... NOT..... PASS!"

3. After the movie, say "Lucas could have done it better."

4. Play a drinking game where you have to take a sip every time someone says, "the Ring."

5. Point and laugh whenever someone dies.

6. Ask everyone around you if they think Gandalf went to Hogwarts.

7. Finish off every one of Elrond's lines with "Mis..ter Ander-sonnn."

8. When Aragorn is crowned king, stand up and at the top of your lungs sing, "And I did it.... MY way...!"

9. Talk like Gollum all through the movie. At the end, bite off someone's finger and fall down the stairs.

10. Dress up as old ladies and reenact "The Battle of Helms Deep," Monty Python style.

11. When Denethor lights the fire, shout "Barbecue!"

12. In TTT when the Ents decide to march to war, stand up and shout, "RUN FOREST, RUN!"

hahaha.. oh yah.. I think Andy Serkis is damnnnnnnnn coooooooooooooool! haha
Was watching the Two Towers appendices, and was quite impressed with this guy! He was crawling on his hands and knees throughout the whole two towers and return of the king in some thin white suit and he is able to make this gothic gollum voice with suitable facial expressions! It's no doubt that he deserves the MTV award for the best virtual performer! haha =PP
Some background.. Gollum was initially a CGI (Computer Generated Image) character made up by WETA Digital.. They then needed a voice for gollum for the two towers and the return of the king so they held an audition and there came Andy Serkis with his amazing gothic voice and facial expressions.. Peter Jackson ( the director) was so impressed with him that he decided that Andy Serkis should act as Gollum and using motion capture technology by WETA, they managed to map Gollum's skin over Andy Serkis' white tight suit. Gollum was also recreated digitally so that the facial expressions of Andy Serkis can be mapped onto Gollum's face! hahaha

SmEeeaaaagol!!! ROCKS! So much work and realism put into it! Beats YODA anytime man (although i do like Yoda but he is just a robot)!

Haha.. apologies for not being able to blog for the past 6-7 days coz i wasn't at home and when i got home yesterday, i had lotsa things to do and top on the list is finding a place for the clique chalet..yeah.

The JC Ministry's camp's turnout was unbelievable. Only about 7 of us went down, all of us are committee members. haha. Those who agreed to join us didn't turn up in the end, so when we got there we started changing the whole camp timetable and changed the focus to recruitment to bonding as a committee. And thank God there was Jarrod.. he came up with all the spiritual sessions circling around the theme, ' loving myself, loving others and loving God '. The sessions were quite intense the first 1.5 days and i realised that i didn't really know about myself and others.. haha.. too much things to write.. In all the sessions were quite insightful lah! =P
The second day was quite a blast, we were out of St. Patrick's school most of the time walking around parkway, the beach and finally at night, Father JPT gave us a treat to seafood at eastcoast. haha.. The food was gooooooood! =PP
Oh yah.. Moli drove Lester and I home after the camp coz she was on the way!! haha.. This gave me the urge to learn driving! I think it's damn coool lorh!! DRIVING!! =P
Shall go sign up in Jan or something when my schedule is more or less confirmed for the next 4 months..

Next came the Primary School Chalet, the first night was a bbq and about 20+ people turned out.. quite coool and everyone looked so different, some have changed physically while others have changed in attitude.. Last time i met them was like 6 years ago.. haha.. We first part of the first night reminiscing the primary school days, all the stupid stuff we did! haha =P And i was still disturbing my female friend who punched my stomach in primary four, quite fun =P
The second part of the night was spend playing bluff, heartattack, hunter and polarbear, indian poker and quite a few more games with forfeit interms of number of camps of baccardi or caps of conc. syrup.. The conc. syrup makes u wanna puke.. really!

The second day was escape day!!!!! We spent 5-6 hours at escape! haha.. We took the rainbow ride 3 times, Viking ride 8-9 times, wet and wild ride 6 times, the panasonic ride once, the cadberry ride once, the rollercoaster ( which was meant for primary school or sec 1 sec 2 kids.. once.. haha..
Viking ride was the funniest.. instead of screaming, we made low synchronised sounds or shoutihng ' MUMMMMY!!!!!!!!'.. haha.. And instead of shouting when the ship at our side ( we were sitting at the ends) goes vertical and is at its highest point, we shouted when our side was at the lowest point.. hurhur.. cheap thrill lah.
Wet and wild was worst.. The first time we took it was hilarious. We put Kevin and Melvin together! They were big size and after the first ride, they were totally drenched compared to us! Super funny.. after their ride, there was maintenance.. haha =P
At about the 5th we took the ride, the woman controlling the ride, instead of briefing us about the 3 rules, she just asked us the rules.. so we recited the rules to her.. haha =D At the sixth ride, after boarding the boats, kevin just shouted the rules, ' Always hold on the hand rails. Don't play with water. AND don't stand on the boat. '. He said it so loudly that those who were waiting for the ride heard it started laughing.. hahaha
Another cheap thrill thingy we did was the photos thingy, every ride would entitle us to a shot by their digital camera while we are going down the slide... We started doing all the stupid poses.. lalala
We looked like kids with sad and deprived childhoods.. haha =P

We thought that the primary school chalet would be boring coz most of us have not seen each other for 6 years and talking would be awkward.. but it turned out a blast! heh! And i won't be going escape for the next few years, i've taken enough rides to make me happy for the next few years..

ah.. 3 movies in 1 day! Can't believe i survived. lol. yah.. Watched three movies with Jas and Lydia yesterday.. Love actually, Master and Commmander and Matrix Revolutions ( and Lionel! there's still matrix in GV ). Love actually was the best show and it was super hilarious! With about 5-6 love stories happening simultaneously with people of different ages.. from the young (8-10yrs old) to the old.. haha.. Rowan Atkinson rocks man! A 4.8/5 rating, is what i'd givee!

Master and Commander is rather boring.. the storyline was about two warships chasing each other with one being the winner in the end.. haha.. Didn't really get the names of the other characters other than the main char coz the words weren't very clear.. 2.8/5
Matrix Revolutions had a sucky ending.. the way agent smith died.. and oh yah.. i dun like main characters dying in movies.. hahaha.. The fight between Neo and Smith was like Dragonball.. bang bang wham wham boom boom... 3.5/5
had quite a blast with jas and lydia..

ah.. i'm gonna be damn busy for the next 8 days man.. and i likeeeeeee having something to do =PP

woooooooweeeeeeeeeeeet! i just woke up! prom rocks! But the food sucks big time! Contrary to popular belief that we won't eat the food, i ate all the food.. 'coz before prom i had not eaten anything for the day. Was busy with some last minute preparations..
Oh yah, and i lovee my suit from Domanchi.. Looks unique and cool but it sure as hell makes my wallet much lighter.. and my hair too =P I know i know.. self love is no love or something?
And it happened that the prom suit i chose ( piece by piece.. as in shirt, pants and coat seperately) was exactly the same as Jaime's! haha.. Quite shocked when i saw him at the lobby before the prom! But what to do? Great minds think alike. hah.
Everyone looked so different with their suits, dresses, hair-dos, makeups and stuff. Nothing much happened other than the massive phototakings.. came out.. i took 86 photos yesterday nite! Gonna die developing them man.. Some came out overexposed so i'll have to edit them..

Went clubbing at China Black after prom.. and it was freeeee entry! We went at the right time coz it was experiencing a blackout and entry was free with free flow of tequila. Unfortunately, the freeflow didn't last long.. about 10 mins after we went up, the music and lights came back on.. free flow stopped.. oh well.. We go the girls to get the drinks for us coz it was ladies night and the drinks were quite diluted..took quite alot of those drinks to get me a little high... Danced around until 3am when we went back to the hotel room to cool off and shower and get a complaint lodged by the room next to us coz we were making too much noise. Two guys came up and attempted to chase everyone out leaving only two in the room. They gave us 5 mins to pack up and leave.. haha.. We hid in the closet when they checked the 2nd time(supposed to be my secret hiding place so that i can scare unsuspecting visitors =PP).. Sucks man.. After that, the girls went to sleep... Jie yong and i went to the lobby to eat our cupnoodles until 5.15am..
haha.. All in all, it was quite an experience for me.. my first and last prom =P
