Two crappy incidents happened today.. one was extreme blurness and the other's extreme paisei-ness..
and i cracked my phone (screen) cover.
haha.. Went for driving in the morning and it ended at 1205 so decided to take a shuttle bus to Bukit Gombak Mrt Station at 1250 and make my way to LOT1 to kill time.. so okay.. i killed some time eating Long John Silver's and studying drums.. I saw my watch at it showed '3.15pm', i was like ' gosh, better rush now, if not i'll be late for lesson'. So i flew all the way to Greenridge Secondary and on the way there i found out that it was only two plus and lesson starts at 4pm!!!! that was super retarded. haha. spent like 1hr+ sitting in greenridge's coffeebean's seat and tables..
Something interesting to note, they actually have a system that encourages students to keep their handphones in lockers protected with a CCTV, of course. Saw many of them going to the lockers to take out their phones and only their phones. Interesting! Other secondary schools should adopt that man! haha.. I think it's a win-win situation for both Students and Teachers. yeahh!
Second thing. I malu-ated myself at PS's Level Six arcade today playing the 7th Percussion mix. It's this complete drum set only with electronic pads replacing the loud drums... Like those electronic drum sets.. black one, comes with earphones or amplifiers. Okay, so after drums lesson, i took out my sticks to play the game.. and wow, super paisei, i had an 'E' average for about 10 stages. haha.. blardee thing! cannot hit too early, cannot hit too late, have to hit when it reaches the bottom of the screen ( the screen's something ike DDR, only this time with 5 columns representing the high hat, snare, ride cymbol, and 2 others) on the line.. wah lao.. haha.. Super paisei-ing..
Oh yah, an advice to new BBDC or other driving centre drivers. Never try to go for 2 lesson or more in a day, you won't be able to digest and you'll most probably screw up (well, i did) the next day. I went for 3 lessons in a day, which is 4.5hrs++ of driving.
=>JY is going NS tomorrow.. there goes my night gaming (cs/gb) buddy.. i foresee boring nights to come.. haha.. And teh following day (1st april), my close primary school friend will be going in. wah lao eh. By the end of this month, i'll be like one of the few guys still zhor bo-ing. Met another (something)JC guy yesterday and he is PES D.. he will be going in in june! haha.. not going to sound mean, but it's good to feel that i'm not the only 'pai ka' guy. haha.
=>Heh. I realised i have two friends working at PS! haha! Can visit them every tuesday! One's Alina who's working at cartel and the other's shumei, at a vietnamese shop in the basement.
=>Should i run Open Cat Div 2 this year? still considering leh, coz now i dunno whether i have time to tune and i dun have a maze.. ah

Yesterday was superbly tiring.. went to greenridge in the morning for micromouse and almost everyone were there.. andrew, tsehao, alvin and sharon.. haha.. Greenridge students are quite nice people unlike St. Pats (and yes, i followed ycn to st pats sec after doing mouse in broadrick sec for fun), where there's this group of very rowdy students.. And contrary to the previous entry, Broadrick students are nice too.. except that they are more on the playful side.. like running a mouse.. 2 of them will keep saying ' you run lah!' " no, you run lah!" to each other and after a hot debate, one of them will run.. it happens almost everytime they go near the maze.. hilarious.
Went to Singapore Armed Forces Yacht Club to pay up! And wow, the place changed quite a bit, the shuttle bus has also changed to a much nicer looking one.. haha.. anddddd, gosh.. I MISS THE SEA.. i miss the way it smells, i miss the sea breeze, i miss the strong winds, i miss rigging up, i miss pushing my dinghy out to sea and pushing the trolley back, i miss...
ahh.. feel so crippled by the operation.. i can now do light activities but nothing too strenous or else my would will tear.. haha.. I wanna sail at least once before i go in.. which is probably going to be in June.. so yah.. Cynthia (miraculously) and Wentheng want to sail too!
Heh. Stoned the rest of the day after i got home coz my legs were aching..haha.. haven't been walking long distances.. haha..
Nothing much really happened today only i went to The Chinese High School to collect my mouse from Andrew to send it for repair in Ngee Ann on monday (which is tomorrow.. no.. it's later!) My father's side relatives came over for a buffet style dinner coz my uncle and his family will be migrating to San Francisco soon.. haha.. They were asking me to stay at their place when i visit or study in US.. haha.. cool.. incentives!! Besies, if i get to go San Francisco, the first place i'll go is Alcatraz, the prison island of 1800s during the American Civil War. You guys may find me damn weird! But yah.. haha.. history excursion =DD
Tomorrow's gonna be another busy day with Driving and Micromouse repairs...
Here's something really cok.
Top Ten ways to get thrown out of chemistry lab
10. Pretend an electron got stuck in your ear, and insist on describing the sound to others.
9. Give a cup of liquid nitrogen to a classmate and ask, "Does this taste funny to you?"
8. Consistently write three atoms of potassium as "KKK."
7. Mutter repeatedly, "Not again... not again... not again."
6. When it's very quiet, suddenly cry out, "My eyes!"
5. Deny the existence of chemicals.
4. Begin pronouncing everything your immigrant lab instructor says exactly the way he/she says it.
3. Casually walk to the front of the room and urinate in a beaker.
2. Pop a paper bag at the crucial moment when the professor is about to pour the sulfuric acid
1. Show up with a 55-gallon drum of fertilizer and express an interest in federal buildings.

In the chemistry lab, one student accidentally hooked up her bunsen
burner to the water line instead of the gas line. She didn't realize it,
of course, until she turned it on.

Hey ya!
Was at BBDC today doing my driving practical for the first time and boy, was it fun. haha.. A little stressful though..
I kept throwing my clutch and some other stupid mistakes but other than that, it was more or less smooth sailing when i'm on the move. Instructor commented that i'm abit too fast.. but it's not really lorh.. the speed that i was supposed to move is 10km/h.. i got extremely sick of it! 10km/h, i can even run faster than that arh! so i accelerated to 20-25km/h.. it's the fastest coz there were drivers stalling infront of me and i have to maintain distance.. yeah..
I hope to be on the licensed drivers bandwagon in less than 2 months.. haha..
I'll be going to Broadrick Secondary School for micromouse tomorrow.. feeling kinda nervous now.. coz it will be my first day there.. from what i heard, broadrick kids are very mischevious.. haha
tomorrow will be super hiong too!
Have got driving (Bukit batok) from 1025 - 1205 and after that i'll have to call for my private jet and fly to broadrick (East Singapore) by 1pm..

woooooweeeeeeee! just got home from a tiring, tiring day! haha
Met lydia in the morning to go school to sell/drop her old TYS/books and met MJ there!! wahah! surprisingly the co-op auntie was there and super duper coincidental! =D
Apparantly, she went back to help out and to teach the new girl taking over her.. haha.. our year also.. humph!! She'll be there for another day so yah, shall call her CO-OP auntie as many times as possible before i can't do it. oh i'm mean!
Went to cut mah hair a REDS today with lydia while MJ went to Kimage to dye/streak/colour/paint/printover (hurhurhurhur!=D) her hair.. And guess what! i made an appointment with the same hairstylist who cut my hair in end Nov and she still remembers me and even asked me what happened to my dyed hair (brown, nice brown.. ah).. yeah. She remembers Jieyong too!
And for the first time in a few months, i went shopping!! Was kinda in need of some new clothes.. so bought 2 shirts in the end which i think are super cool!
Spent some time taking some 'artistic' photos of the esplanade so i can post it up in my Photoblog! haha.. had some new photo-inspiration while i was there.. Sadly, the sky was threatening to pourrrrrr-oar! So didn't stay for long.. i'll return there one of these days to take some more =D
for now, i shall post some crappy photos here later.. ahahha
Nothing happened in the weekend other than Fuhua's micromouse team coming to my house with my seniors for a BBQ.. and i spent fri and sat night coming up with the fonts and graphic for this new layout.. yupz!
Comment on the layout yah?

Massive manhunt on Pulau Tekong for 3 armed robbers who fled from Johor: "Thursday March 18, 6:17 PM
SINGAPORE : More than 400 soldiers and policemen were conducting a massive manhunt on Thursday for three armed robbers on Pulau Tekong.
The three men are suspected of committing an armed robbery in Johor.
Malaysian police told Channel NewsAsia the men are believed to be Indonesians and are armed with a pistol and pump action gun.
Malaysian media say they robbed a businessman in Kota Tinggi of 600 ringgit, before they robbed a Johor boat rental company of 10,000 ringgit.
They were being pursued by Malaysian police but fled the country at about 8.45 am Thursday in a motorised sampan.
They landed on Pulau Tekong, one of Singapore's largest islands, which lies to the north-east.
The manhunt, which began at 9 am, involves 200 soldiers armed with M16s, 200 policemen, a dozen dogs and two helicopters.
The island has also been cordoned off by patrol craft from the Coast Guard.
There are no residents on the island but there are at least two army camps there, which are used for basic military training.
All military training was stopped at 10.30 am and recruits have been ordered to stay indoors. - CNA"
------------------
Wah! this is damn funny!
Of all places, of all islands.. they chose the God-forsaken island, tekong.. haha
smart sia.. island of highest military concentration!
Live targets for training.. lol

ah.. updating at 3+ am again!
i think i'm suffering from insomnia... hurhur
okay.. it's more or less confirmed, i'll most probably enlist in June as a PES E. They said i'll enlist between june to sept.. but in june, there's a PES E batch going in..
It states that i'm not fit for any physical work for 3 months upon enlistment and i can only do admin work in bases, i'm not operationally ready in bases.
yupz!

wah.. today's a hell of a day!
Woke up at 6 and went to church then to CMPB at 9am!
I was super scared yesterday when they called me and asked me to go for my medical review.. I thought they were going to upgrade my PES and send me for BMT this month.. yah.. i'm not physically fit now and i can't even do any strenous activities coz of my operation.. YeaH! But it turned out quite good.. THANK GOD!
What happened was.. The Medical Officer offered me another option (Option 1) for my NS, which is to enlist with my batch around march or april and be downgraded to the lowest PES, PES E. I'll be PES E for my 'BMT' in tekong.. and six months later, they would review me again and upgrade me, then i'll have to be sent to BMT again.. THe proper BMT now.. yeah..
Option 2: Which is to enlist in July and by then i should have a PES status, then i would just join the BMT chionging..
Option 2 gives me time to do all the stuff i wanna do before embarking on my green journey.. yuPZ!
The only difference between Option 1 and option 2 is that in Option 1, i end NS about 3-4 months earlier.. yeah.. the real BMT should be around aug/sept for both options..
Heh. After that, met JY at 3pm at RELC to settle our SAT stuff then we proceeded to suntec for the IT SHOW 2004..
The IT SHOW was crap lah.. The majority of the showcase was on Digital Cameras, CD-R , DVD-R, their respective drives and laptops here and there.. was there looking for some soundsystem for my dvd player.. saw the papers advertising a 5.1 set for only 70 dollars.. it's some china brand, 'Eco'. ANywya, they didn't state the power of the satellites so i decided not to buy, must be some crappy system.. was thinking of Altec Lensing's 2.1 speakers.. 12 watts for satellite speakers and 18 watts for the subwoofer.. Altec Lensing is a more trustworthy brand lah.. May consider that..

WiNzEe's
haven't been updating much lately.. really don't know what to say, guess i'm a little lost ever since i got the results back. It got compared like mad like between parent's friends, school teachers' children (Went back to queensway on monday to visit some teachers, been quite long since i last went back).. Kinda feels sucky..
Was at the NTU talks on sat and sun, quite interesting courses they have.. haha.. The university fair at suntec on sat/sun was still the best! NUS, NTU, SMU, SIM and all the other foreign universities from UK, AUST, GERMANY were all there.. quite cool.. was looking at an Australian eduation or maybe a US education... The courses are quite ex though (d'oh).. And Adelaide(is this how you spell it?), has one of the top 8 Universities in Australia and it has the cheapest cost of living. May consider. Another cool thing was Lydia, Joanna, Jie Yong and I had some consultation with a Singapore-based Australian education promotion company, Fortrust. The Managing Director was talking to us and he gave us a hell lot of useful information and insights on the universities and better still, he doesn't charge anybody for consultations even in their offices. It's totally free, even when our application goes through them.. Apparently, they get their income from the universities in Australia coz Fortrust is representing all the universities.. cool huh?
yeah! oh yah.. and drums lesson yesterday was superb man! we were doing 8 counts already! Wasn't really easy, i think i have some rthym problem.. either that or i can't multitask.. coz i realised that i can't do three things at once, like hitting the bassdrum, the cymbol and snare at the same time and each have different timings.. either it's the rthym problem or i'm just focusing my mind on two many things..
Random Thought: If i play drums long enough, i think hitting the bassdrum and hitting the cymbol would be in my subconscious mind, then my conscious mind can focus on hitting the snare and other parts.. HumPh! Dunno whether it's correct or not.. was watching discovery channel and they were talking about a dirt racer.. he races so much that his driving and footwork are coordinated by the subconscious mind and the conscious mind is focused on ways to move faster and get a better timing.. yupz!
Was blog surfing, came cross mj's blog and saw this line "don't let the friends or people that mean the most to you slip past you." It somehow got me thinking about something that happened in J2..

When people think of boys with dyed hair(brown), do they immediately link it to delinquency?
is it a stereotype in society?
What do you think, personally?
Need your honest opinion.
