TROY!!

Ran 3 click at East Coast Park today and watched troy today!!

zouk out!

heh. In the office now, slacking.. =D
Went clubbing on wed night with my colleagues.. 3 departments went to zouk! haha
Went mambo and started queueing and when it was our turn to go in, there was no space anymore.. It was NTU's Business fac's bash.. super duper crowded.. Decided to go phuture( or rather through phuture's entrance to mambo). Met Pravin, hans, jobeth and the other 24th Council there.. apparantly, they were having a gathering in phuture! haha.. Pravin's working at SAFTI now and Hans is somewhere else.. both are officers.. haha cool huh?
Went mambo and partied for 2 hours before going up to phuture.. It was jam packed there! We squeezed our way in and got stuck and squashed, with no space to move.. Some peolpe even resorted to pushing.. bad bad bad.. but the songs in huture (R&B) are much much much much x10^infinity better than mambo.. haha
In the end, got home at 3am and went to work at 6am! madness! Furthermore, i had duty the next day.. which means i have to stay overnight.. And worst still, we slept at 1.30am last night cause the officers had an exercise and woke at 5.30am.. madness.. Decided to sleep through lunch in my room with the others who went clubbing..
oh well.. haha

lack of updates. too slack and no time larh. I finally found time today to update a little but i don't think it's gonna end good. IN FACT, IT WON'T. Read on to find out why!
If sentences don't flow or something along that line, pardon me. My thoughts are a little scrambled now..

I finally did my first Duty clerk/Security personnel overnight duty. and it was super lac. The duty clerk's duty is to basically settle the college keys and be on 24 hours alert and the Security Personnel's job is basically to lock up the place. Don't wanna dwell into the specific details but, majority of the duty stuff after work ended at 8.30pm. And from then on, it was my free time to do whatever i want... Spent the rest of the evening with my fellow upperstudies (seniors) in the lounge, watching tv, taking cok, warming the sofas and sleeping on the sofas in an extremely cold cold cold room. Heh.

Bought a new harddisk (120gb) from simlim to keep all my download TV shows and movies, and lots and lots of games. Windows XP has a rather complicated system of partitioning the hard disk. For those who know, i got stuck for 2 hrs figuring out how to change a Dynamic Layout harddisk to a Basic Layout. and found out that it was just a click away. STOOOPID me.
Bought a sound card last tuesday too! It's a second hand sound card..managed to get Audigy 2 ZS for 85 bucks. Retail price is 190 and the card's relatively new looking from it's condition.. Funny thing was, i saw an ad on the net selling an Audigy 2 Sound card (the first version of the Series) for 100 (retail = 140), so i left my number down. Almost a day later, i got this call from this strong accent chinese guy who wanted to sell it.. was stunned at first.. " how the hell am i supposed to negotiate and communicate with my limited chinese???!!! "
thankfully, he understood my broken chinese and i managed to negotiate until $85, from $100, with my limited (D7) chinese, and wow, this is the most chinese i've spoken in 3 months? hahah.. Met the guy on the day itself at JE Mrt station to get the card and found out later that the card he gave me was Audigy 2 ZS (a newer version, with a retail price of 190).. so happy lah.. i only paid a fraction of the amount to get a good card..
The packaging was rather weird though. This is going to sound confusing..
The audigy 2 ZS card was packaged in an Audigy 2 (older version) Box. The wordings on the box are all jap. And that box is supposed to be from japan, made from Singapore. Okay. The in the box, the driver that was given to me was Audigy 1, and i say again Audigy 1, a super out-dated driver from a rather outdated card.
Weird huh? Got home, installed and found out that the card has problems.. apparantly, it's manufacturer's error coz most of the people around the world have a similar problem.. yupz. After 2 days of cracking my nuts, i finally gave it and sent it to creative today for repairs by their engineers.. i tried contacting that bugger who sold me the card to get his receipt but mysteriously, his phone is perpetually off.. BUGGER!
I don't know what's going to happen now.. shall keep trying to contact him to get the receipt coz if not, i'll have to pay for a replacement card and i doubt it's going to be cheap..

And yes.
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE PLAY ME OUT, ESPECIALLY WHEN MONEY WAS INVOLVED. Was supposed to go for sajc's drama play today with 5 other people. Initially all 5 said okay, so i paid for all 6 tickets, including mine. Then 3 backed out coz of some last minute arrangements like 4 days before today so that i can do something about it. Last night, another backed out coz of sudden family arrangements. And today, wah.. i tell u.. was damn bad. The last person backed out coz there was nobody else going other than me.. Like what *toot* reason is that?? Plans were made, so jollly well follow it.
