saaaaaaaaailing!

yay! went saaaaaailing yesterday! It's been a very very long time since i last sailed.. about 1.5 yrs? coz of school then operation.. haha. Heniways, Went to the National Service Resort and) Country Club's sea sports club (which is now owned by Singapore Armed Forces Yacht Club with Cynthia, WenTheng and SueAnn. Day started out with me (and i can't believe it!) rigging up 4 Laser dinghys and it took me about an hour to rig all of them up coz everyone forgot how to rig one up, myself included. Luckily i did some reading the day before! And out we went, into the sea =D It felt good, really good! Really miss the refreshing feeling of hiking out with the wind into my face.. My physical fitness really deteriorated, can't even hike out for long and not to mention walking up SAFTI's stairs. yeah. Totally enjoyed the few hours we were out at sea even though a small itsy bitsy mishap occured towards the end *grinz*.
Day ended with a dinner at Cartel somewhere in the east and the Ribs there are darn good!
Heh!

Am hoping to go for my PPCDL soon..

Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children

ohmigawd! Final Fantasy 7 movie is coming out! Produced entirely by Square-enix(formally squaresoft fearturing 20 in-game characters. The characters look so real and man, they look good too! I bet all the final fantasy 7 fans will definitely love this! heh!

helluva week!

yup! extremely fun!

Met up with my secondary school classmates twice this week!! Met up with Cat, Mel, zewei and FH on Monday and Thursday after work.. Had dinner as usual and we took LOTS and LOTS of photos.. zewei thought that we were in photography club =D haha .. But the photos taken on both the days were quite nice and i must say, Cat's quite a good photographer! haha.. it's been really a long time since i last met Cat.. I tink the last time i met her was 'O' Levels results day and for mel, it's almost a year since the Sec 2 BBQ when Varut came back from US/Thailand.. Spend those two days making up for lost time =D. To think that i couldn't get along with Cat for like 3 years in secondary school.. quarrels (especially before micromouse competitions when there's alot of tension in the air), pissing each other off and stuff.. haha.. And now! we're quite close! no more of those childish nonsense.. Looking back, it was like a blessing in disguise.. Someone once said " bonds are made through hardship " Haha. =D Those were the times.. yupz!

Caught Aliens Vs Predator on Wednesday night withhh none other than Lydia! haha.. It was a very very very very very bad bad bad bad show!
-Spoilers ahead-
It was so stupid that i was laughing in the cinema.. like wth lorh.. humans made a pact with the predators?!?!
Super cok. Predators are hunting machines and they fight for honour.. like.. isn't making a pact dishonourable? The way the Predators move was very clumsy especially the part when they were running for their lives.. They actually ran as fast as humans!! bleah. Towards the end, when the predator took out his mask right infront of the girl, it looked as if it was going to kiss the girl. =D Very bad shot! Okay, not so bad.. then came the Queen Alien crawling out from the snow 2000 feet underground and started chasing the two survivors ( the predator and the girl) crashing through everything.. It had a stark resembilence to the T-Rex in Jurassic Park crashing through everything with it's head.. bah.
Okay, so instead of making a horror-action flick, they made National Geographic.
In the last 5 minutes, when the elder predator turned around to return to his ship, the director just had to emphasize on the motion of his long hair suspended in the air. It looked like a Rejoice/head&shoulders shampoo commercial..

I'm kind of an Aliens and Predator fan.. but this is too disappointing.
I bet those who watched the show already would agree with me.. haha

Side note.. It's been confirmed. I'm going for another OP in september.. kinda scared.. i HATE OPS. =(

the deal

Went for a medical checkup at SGH yesterday cause my opsite was giving some problems due to a sharp pain caused by something hard and pointey below it. I get the pain sometimes when i walk.. and hell, it hurts! It took 2 specialists ( a senior and a junior) to find out that it's some undissolved sutures irritating my skin from beneath. yeah. The doctor suggested that i go for a surgery to remove those sutures. I'll have to meet up with the team of surgeons who operated on me in Jan on 11th of August.
Okay.. thing is this. I just got upgraded to PES-B a few weeks back and i'm due for BMT this 20th Aug. Talked to the MO about it (and no, i'm not trying to chao keng) and he said that i've got to decide together with the specialists and my parents whether i want to go for the OP. If i do not go for the OP, i'll return to tekong on the 20th of August, which coincidentally is SAFTI-BOWLING DAY!.

On a much lighter note, Doom 3's released today! And i just got myself a copy of it! Sucks man! My comp's too slow for it although the new graphics card that i bought took some load off my RAM, it was still a bit jerky. Amazing graphics even when i played at 640x480 and at Medium texure quality and quite good gameplay. It's really amazing how much effort "id" put in to widen the range of computer compatibility. Only bad thing's that for the most part of the game, it's too freaking dark. 80% of the time, i have to use my flashlight and toggling between flashlight and the weapons isn't really very convenient. Storyline's the same as the original DOOM I and DOOM II - How it happened and how it ended with a nameless marine as the main Character. I'd give it a rating of 8.5 / 10.

And early this morning, Walid left SG for Chicago. Time really flies man.. He came back not long ago and now he's back to Chicago. Never really had much time to hang out with him coz i was always busy( ns and stuff..).. sadness sia. Heniways! Take care pal! See ya next year!
