John Stevens got voted out and i've never seen all the idol contestants so sad before.. This group is much much more united than the previous group.. And it is really sad that John Stevens got voted out, he brought flavour into the show..yupz..

heh. Been ages since i wrote a proper entry..
Been been been so so so so busy the past few days since 12th april and i don't think it will improve until June.. Usually book in at 0745 and book out at around 6.. ON paper work ends at 1730.. but if you can't finish the work, u'll stay until 7-8 or later.. sucks. And the last shuttle bus to boonlay mrt station leaves my place at 1810.. so if i miss it, i'll have to walk all the way out to Science Discovery Centre to take a bus back to boonlay mrt station. When i get home, i have to do work.. dun really have a life..=(

Singapore Command and Staff College. The lowest ranking officer there is a major and there are alot of them on course before they become LTC ( Lieutenant Colonel, 1 crab before a colonel). And a few colonels and LTC there too. So everyone i see.. must greet.. In bmt, we were taught to salute to officers.. but in this place, if we salute.. people to laugh coz nobody salutes.. and coz there are too many officers.. haha

Work. Work isn't really fun. I'm in a team of 4 guys under this newly created department called ' Transformations '. We are under 10 Colonels and LTC. So we get alot of shitwork. Our job scope is to make electronic documents for exercises and functions.. and there are alot to do... the work never stops coming.. We even did research for this LTC's MBA ( Master of Business Admin) for his presentation in NTU.. quite shit work. And sometimes work comes at 1715, so LL lorh. have to stay back and do. But other than shitwork, my team is a cool bunch of guys.. super fun to be with.. also the Directing Staff clerks beside our room are funky too! haha.. damn happening! But no matter how shitified this is, it cannot compare to people in the field..

Commandant. The biggest shot in school is a giant, man! super big size.. like some american rugger.. he was an ex-national water polo player and his team got third for 1986 asian games. haha. how cool is that! Heard that during SAFTI Games Day earlier in the year, he played waterpolo with the guys and he scored a goal from the middle of the olympic sized pool, not even th keeper could catch it. heard some other stories on how he tackled too.
haha.. And He's a real leader.. Very hands-on. Exhibits alot of leadership and highly respectable (as a person)..
My friend was saying.. he has everything, brains brawns and looks.

The whole SCSC will be going to the Chevrons to bowl next thurs and i'm on leave! DAMN! =( May go in the afternoon..

Oh yah.. went for driving today at 1910.. and u know what! It was raining heavily and stuff. I saw this streak of lightning bolt hit the ground infront of me. The area was dark with dense foliage behind.. then a long bolt of lightning hit somewhere infront of the foliage producing quite an interesting effect.. ahha

Haven't got any letter from any of the Us i applied for.. Sighs

Realised that A level results are very important even in the army. When i went for my interview with my boss.. He asked me about my results and after i told him.. he gave me a condescending look and answer. Got mocked once somewhere in the week by the same boss too. And whenever people ask me what i got, they would ask ' So, how many As ' Quite sad. double sigh..

WAZZUP Y'ALL?? i'm back!!
The 5.5 days induction was damn slack.. ORION! =D

It all started on monday morning at the SAF ferry terminal. The fastcrafts are quite luxurious leh.. strong aircon and nice seats.. it's also smooth when it's sailing! It took about 15 mins to reach tekong..
Upon reaching we were made to give up our PINK ICs for the GREEN IC, or what people would normally call, 11B.. which stands for '11 Basic Information' about oneself written on the card..
Had some oath taking then lunch with family before they left the island. After that, they brought us to collect our duffle bags and the $2 haircut! haha.. There were alot of admin stuff in the first day.. Met quite a few people and according to the OC, we are one hell of a diverse batch. there are about 100 people.. about 20-30 from JC, a group poly, another group ite
and another group with 'O' level education.. there are also people with alot of tatoos.. it's the first time i've seen so much tatooing on the bodies.. there are real ah bengs there too.. but they are quite nice people! There's also a very tall guy.. 2.03m.. super tall!

The other days were damn slack.. We spent most of our time slacking.. like before breakfast there was a 2-3 hrs zhobor period and before dinner another 2-3 hrs.. and after dinner about 2-3hrs of slacking before lights off.. Spent the last 2 nights there playing scrabble in the recruits' mess.. haha.. The mess is quite cool lah.. there's a tv, radio, pingpong table, soccertable, carom baord, chess sets, sofas, board games and stuff. =D
Anyway during the day we did activities in like lectures and footdrill inbetween... but quite sian lah.
Being in PES E, the sgts and officers can't punish us. so there are groups of people who would not care about discipline and do anything they wish.. play a fool.. talk and move in sedia position.. Then march also dun want to march properly, some dun even want to move their arms while marching.. You see.. in tekong, we have to march from one place to another...
So whenever we marched past the cookhouse, other companies would stare at our 'bad' marching and sometimes mock at us.
It's like a common thing since day 1.. whenever we meet other companies or march past them, we usually get mocked (usually quite badly with sarcasm, weird stares and condescending laughters) being in PES E.. Felt that i didn't have any ego or pride left.. it's quite bad..
There was once, the sgt stopped a queue of normal chiongsua recruits queuing up for food, to allow us to go first coz we were rushing for a speech by the commander of BMTC School 2. And the people started saying loudly.. ' NVM lah, they are PES E.. let them ENJOY their 1WEEEk stay here'. Most had very chao bin.
But personally, they shouldn't help us cut queue coz the chiongsua recruits from other companies have like a shorter time eating than us.. so they should do first lorh..
Talking about food, i kinda like the food there.. haha.. quite nice lah =DD
It was like one big chalet. haha.

We also had to go for 2 jabs (thyfoid or however u spell it and tetanus) and take one oral medicine at the medical centre. damn painful. They just jab your left and right arm together. One person at each side and use a dropper to drop the polio medicine under my tongue. ahhh.. my left arm still hurt..

I kinda like the idea of waking up at 0530 and sleeping at 2230.. makes me feel that i'm making full use of the day.. and i wanna recover as fast as possible.. have this instincts to go BMT.. yuPZ!
I also got my posting liao.. i'm posted to SAFTI Military Institute.. haha.. That's where the OCS is.. haha.. gonna go find some friends there =D

And today, something damn paisei happened
I accidentally booked a driving lesson at 1225 for a 1255 lesson.. so i rushed down to BBDC.. on the way there, i had a bad headache and took off my specs and slept for awhile.. when i woke up, i was at BBDC bus stop already.. got off the bus, and left my specs in the bus! only found out about it like 5-10 mins later.. and i tried flagging a cab but to no avail.. so i ran to the driving circuit to find my car and ask the instructor to drive out to chase the bus.. haha. We chased the bus 188 all the way to CCK bus interchange where i got the specs back coz the bus uncle, a kind soul i must say, who found my specs gave it to the control station. haha.. damn paisei. spent 20-30 mins of the driving time chasing my specs in a moving bus.

The final hour.

Approximately 9 more hours before i enlist and shaveeeeeeeee.. yah.. feeling okay.. not really scared.. not really nervous.. haha.. just okay.. i think it will be super slack coz i'm Temporary PES E.. So i'm only going to tekong for 5.5 days induction.. i have this feeling it's gonna be even more slack the scouts camp.. Yupz. 3 months later, i'll return to tekong again for my BMT. And proper training starts then.. hUmPh! yEah! Gonna pack my bag soon and yeah..
Lock 'n Load!

Just got back from Julia's house.. haha.. had a mini clementi khaki gathering and woowee, it was fun! =D Snacked, crap (when have i not?), eat ICE CREAM! haha. Was cool lah, have not met Liting and Julia for quite sometime awhile liao.. haha.
And i spent the afternoon at TCHS doing mouse today!! haha.. quite cok right? the day before i enlist, i'm still doing mouse! haha.. And miraculously, i managed to complete the G.clone/sister mouse in 50 mins and part of BRSS's mouse in a much shorter period of time (coz i had to go church.. so have to rush..) before finding out something very very interesting about TH's hardware.. haha.. shall not write what it is due to security concerns. HA HA HA. So redrew the profile.. yah.

Saturaday

Spend the whole first part of the day running around the place. Went to Simlim Towers to get Fuhua's 10 eproms.. if not Tse hao would murder me.. and then to the bank to get some card.. then home.. then to BukitBatok driving centre.. and all these took place between 1030 to 1255. madness.. madness.. madness.. Super hiong!!
Went out with Jas and lydia in the eveing for a gathering cum birthday thingy.. coz Lydia's birthday is on the 14th and mine's on the 8th.. Xinyi (whose birthday is on the 11th) was supposed to come to.. but she was celebrating her birthday with her family.. yeah man! Had dinner at SUSHIIIIIIIIIIII!!! been so long since i last tasted the sticky sushi rice and raw fish(salmon!!).. raw tuna sucks.. smelt raw (doh).
Then met the seniors..kelvin, ycn, and wendy.. and beesuan at Breko at 9.30pm! haha.. been awhile since i last met wendy.. so decided to meet up with the bv seniors for awhile before i left.. haha.. it was super hilarious there.. We ended up playing bluff with kelvin being the honest-man-who-doesn't-lie-cum-card-collector! =D
Coincidentally, met the my ex bv classmates there too! People like giang, melissa, zhengnan, kenneth.. haha..

ahh.. haha.. special day today (or rather, yesterday.. it's the morning now)!! *hint hint*
hahaha.. i'm 19 now!! and the number '9' makes me feel damn old!! haha.. prefer '18'! looks nicer! =D
Nothing much happened.. only went out with lydia for a movie marathon - Passion of the Christ and Hellboy. haha.. both are quite coool movies! Passion is a little gory and sad though.. The director brings you into the movie and one can really feel himself in the actual toreture of Jesus Christ.. His love for us.. haha. YuPZ. found the ending quite interesting.,. where Jesus was resurrected.. the actor was rather stiff and fast when he stood up and walked rather fast across the screen, it felt like The Terminator. YupZ. Nonetheless, a good movie!
Got a nice nice nice cap from lydia too!! haha

ooo-oooh weeee! ohh wee!
Just got back from my pre-birthday celebration with family at this Brazilian Restaurant at Sixth ( or is it fifth avenue?). haha. The food there is meat. meat. meat. and more meat. Chose this place coz i was sick of Western and Chinese food.. maybe jap too.. wanna try something different... besides there's alot of meat! i love eating meat!
And now.. after the dinner.. for the first time, i can safely say that i'm damn scared of meat.
I ate like all kinds of meat like Lamb, beef, Chicken, Fish and pork. All of them are roasted/grilled.. And there are a hell lot of varieties of beef. Topside beef, beef calf, beef ribs.. got quite scared.. haha.. The grilled Pineapple is something that made me feel less 'gi lat'.. And gosh, i love the drink i got.. It's Bansil barsal or something alone that line.. Lemonade + Mango + soda! superb! There's also this round orb-like bread-cheese thingy.. it's this soft crust of wheat with some mixture of wheat+cheese in it! Rather interesting.. it's some Brazillian delicacy i think..

Oh well, guess i'm making all u readers hungry huh? haha.. But really.. hardcore meat eaters would benefit this kind of food.. i used to think i was quite hardcore but somehow i got humbled by soo much meat!

I just got an enlistment letter stating i'm to enlist on the 12th of April. Like wtf lorh. They only gave me a 10 days notice.. shitlah.. Was told that i would enlist in June but now.. All my plan's gone! gone gone gone.. gone! Micromouse Competition, Holiday, Driving, SAT... aRGh

Don't get me wrong. I'm not afraid of NS, in fact, i'm waiting for it to come but this is just too sudden. too freaking sudden!
